Frequently asked questions

When will my lowering trailer be ready?
Timeframe for collection is typically from 3 days to 6 weeks for lowering trailers, and 2-6 weeks for tilt deck trailers.

Ramp Trailers are scheduled for delivery in Q4 2023.

This will be impacted depending on your location and the options chosen for the ordered trailer.

Where can I receive my trailer?
Your Futura trailer must be collected from Futura HQ; 42 Westpoint Drive, Hobsonville Auckland. Please contact us directly about alternative delivery options.

Why am I paying only a deposit for my trailer?
Payment of a deposit secures your order for a Futura trailer and any accessories installed with the trailer. Due to high demand for our trailers, we recommend placing your order as early as possible.

When is full payment required?
Following an online order of a new Futura trailer, you will be invoiced in full prior to receiving your trailer. When ordering only Futura Premium Accessories, full payment is required at the time of placing your order on this website.

Can I order accessories later on?
Absolutely. Futura Trailers Premium Accessories can be ordered online or through your local dealer. However, if you want these pre-installed, we recommend they are ordered at the same time as the trailer.

Please note; the Futura electric recovery winch is currently not configured to fit the Futura Tilt Deck trailer.

Do your accessories fit older Futura Trailers?
Featured accessories are compatible with trailers on this website. If your trailer is an older model, please contact us.

Are your trailers covered by a warranty?
Yes. We offer a two-year limited warranty on our vehicle trailers.

We offer a limited warranty on our marine trailers.

Where are Futura trailers manufactured?
Our trailers are manufactured in our purpose-built production facility in Hobsonville, Auckland.

Are Futura Trailers road legal in New Zealand?
Yes!

Are Futura Lowering Trailers electric?
The motor that lowers and raises the deck is powered by an onboard 12-volt battery.

How do I charge the electric motor battery on a Futura Lowering Trailer?
